The FRI Day

Long night for the cru...dem boys hit it hard and are feelin it today im sure (well i kno, coach is still passed out) The episode musta gotten deep, something about kickin up funk in a taxi cab and 21 dollar-all u can eat ribs/all u can drink deal....jus one of those times ur glad in hindsight u didnt have 21 dollars in ur pocket, well at least thats how i feel now, looking at the carnage after the fact, the wreckage of my team...damn....moving on......................................................................

Remember how sweet everyone thought those Nano's were? Maybe you still think they are. In that case I will issue you a first class ticket to disappointment city and wish you on ur way. Good to see that guy got his tho- goes to sho that complaining is still a valid form of activism to get whatcha want.........................................................................................................

For the past 2 winters I've lived in a ski town and things are def done a little different there, for instance there are an overwhelming amount of dogs, and when a$$holes take on more than they can handle sometimes they leave the dog behind after they leave. Poor dog got branded...as if someone couldnt assume the dog had no home after, say, a few days living on the street....

Shot in San Francisco! A fake-snow jump, here we see T.Parka gettin his early with an urban background-whistler-style...there were a buncha proskiers there and of course JJ thomas, who always ends up at these type events...Shaun White was proally too busy gettin over how shook he got in AK while filmin first descent with the Movement Picture Cru (SHAMELESS PLUG HAS BEEN INSERTED)....

If we do not learn from the past we are condemned to repeat it.

Rock, Paper, Scissors upped the ante and you missed the memo. Betta get with it or someones gonna throw a secret move at you- im studyin up, believe that....

In case they felt unwelcomed and couldn't find a suitable place to land, Puerto Rico is trying to be hospitable to every and any possible out'o'town tourists....in this case tho the builder seems be on some Kevin Costner ish....

Google has been doing some next lev stuff for awhile now, but no one is feelin' it quite like this roman guy who used the google maps to get his. Right on man....Google:We'll Hook You with a Villa!

What IF?

What IF?
Not to say all of the beats on "Ready to Die" weren't good but what if Biggie had gotten on some of the nasty premo beats from "Sun Rises"? This post inspired by recent discussions about Jeru and Big's relationship. Personally my fav biggie is closer to "Got a story to tell" over "one more chance"....

The Problem with Skateparks

In the past 5-10 years skateparks have been popping up everywhere all due to the overwhelming growth of skaters out there. Some parks are opened thru the hardwork of dedicated local skaters while others are more of an answer to the problem cities have with skaters overruning different public spots and streets. In my case it was Gilford, NH where I put in a significant amount of time working to get a park in the town people could go to, but never in my mind (and probably others who put forth similar efforts) would this all lead to an 'answer to the problem' for skaters, more like another option that was safe from being kicked out of. It seems like wherever I go and street skate the answer I get now is "dont you know there is a park near here?"

Well yeah i know about the parks- if im skating somewhere for any extended time no doubt i did my homework and checked into all the options, but that isnt an answer. Skateparks should be considered by towns as options for skaters, not answers, because if skateboarding were not to exist in the streets i proally wouldnt still be skating out of a lack of creative options. It's all about taking whats already there and being creative on how to approach it with style, thats what these people fail to understand.

New York has taken a modern approach to this compared to other towns and cities, and with the exception of downtown private buildings with security I rarely get kicked out of anywhere. Even street skating is considered a method of getting around, and dodging taxi's is (alto more dangerous) a lot more fun than dodgin bikers and rollerbladers at any park.

These pics are from Owl's Head Park in Bay Ridge-Brooklyn, New York. I felt inspired to vent on this since I would rather have a fun sesh with friends on some random things then try and go as huge as possible anymore- especially on a skateboard....

Keep On Keepin' On'

Questions I'm Thinking About:
Did the people who invented microwavable food-pre-pkgd hope that it would take over the way people fundamentally prepare food? Did they feel they were on the cusp of a food-revolution?

Is Kanye trying to be Mohammed Ali in a diff arena without the knowledge?

If I knew more about concentrated/notfromconcentrate OJ, would I have a definitive preference? Like 'damn im not drinking THAT again!"...?

How ill is dipset?
